Chan Luu’s wrap bracelets are everywhere. You’ve seen them in Marie Claire, Oprah magazine, Elle, Cosmopolitan and other major fashion magazines. Lady Gaga loves them, as does Rhianna and Jennifer Lopez. And now, Chan Luu’s look has special appeal for the horse lover.
A Perfect Gift for the Fashion Forward Horse Lover!
The Chan Luu wrap bracelet features either black or brown leather, combined with sterling silver nuggets, is worn looping around the wrist five times, and, in this special exclusive edition, features one of five equestrian themed sterling silver charms.
Charm bracelets are one of the hottest trends of the season. In this interpretation, the focus is on a single charm. The Ride for the Cure charm, highlighting the fight against breast cancer, is 7/8″ across, while the Hunting Horse, Asian Horse, Lucky Horseshoe and St. Santiago charms are all dime sized.
This bracelet is the perfect gift for the fashionista on your gift list. Chan Luu’s wrap bracelet is an established fashion favorite. Brittany Spears was spotted wearing the ‘classic version’ of this bracelet, which features gold nuggets paired with brown leather. The addition of the equestrian charm makes the bracelet especially appealing to the horsewoman.
About the Designer
Chan Luu was born in Viet Nam. She moved to the US, and in 1975 graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design. Over the course of her nearly four decade long career, she’s built a name for herself. She opened her first boutique in 1982, and has been designing accessories since 1996. Her collection includes wrap bracelets combining leather in a variety of colors, from the traditional favorites black or brown through pink and turquoise. Chain appears prominently in some designs.
When asked for her thoughts on a personal look, Chan Luu was quoted as saying, “Accessories really bring out the personality of a person. For me, it’s all about culture. When you look at people and how they adorn themselves, it really tells a story about them.”
Her latest look — exclusively available from the Equestrian Jeweler! — lets those of us who love horses and high fashion tell our story particularly well!
